Mercedario
The 8th highest mountain in South-America (6700m) rarely sees any climbers. We were the 4th team this season, and none of the previous teams had summited. Would we be the first one ?

We used Anibal at www.donmercedario.com.ar in San Juan.
He picked us up in Mendoza and drove us in his Toyota Hilux to the refugio at 3200m (6 hours from Mendoza). We paid 375 USD each way. This price includes Red Tape for using the road of the mining company. No other Red Tape (or permit) for Mercedario.
He offer mules as well if needed.
Another company is Mauro at www.ansiltaturismo.com.ar in Barreal. I heard they are cheaper but Anibal is the expert and he
speaks good English.
